National Percentile Rank (NPR)

The National Percentile Rank (NPR) shows how a learner’s score compares to the national sample. For example, a learner at the 70th percentile has performed as well as or better than 70% of pupils of the same age. This measure helps schools to see clearly where pupils are positioned within the national context. This video explains how NPR works and how it can be used.
